About Me!

I’m a New York based and Chicago local hire actor (from Shakespeare to musicals!), singer, dancer, acrobat, aerialist, teaching artist, karaoke-lover and more!

I grew up in Westchester, NY to a cute little Jewish family. Emphasis on the little (our average height is probably 5’3”). I loved performing from a young age. A picture of me from my preschool Purim Sphiel made local news for being the most enthusiastic singer of our hamantaschen song. Observing Shabbat growing up, I spent every Saturday flipping around on trampolines and choreographing dances with my friends. At age 9, I joined the Play Group Theatre in White Plains, NY and fell in love with the community, self-expression and creativity I found in theatre.

I continued to seek out these values at Northwestern University, where I received a BA in Theatre and a Musical Theatre certificate. For my senior project, I had the pleasure of playing Fanny Brice in my own gender expansive production of Funny Girl. Representing both Jewish and trans/non-binary identities in an art form that I didn’t often see myself in growing up is at the forefront of the kind of art I want to make.

While at Northwestern, I attended a summer intensive at the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, where I was immersed in storytelling through contemporary dance. I was also introduced to circus by the Actor’s Gymnasium, and channeling little 5 year old me doing front flips off the couch, I completed their 9-month Professional Circus Training Program. I am passionate about using circus and physical theatre to elevate storytelling.

Since graduating, I have been performing in major theaters around Chicago, including Lookingglass, Chicago Shakes and Paramount as well as leading a workshop of a new musical in NYC.
